My quilts Blue Ridge Blues and Purple Haze will be part of the Piedmont Arts Association’s 7th Biennial Invitational Quilt Exhibition: THE ART OF THE QUILT. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the parkway, this year’s theme is The Blue Ridge. The show runs November 12 through December 30 in the Piedmont Arts Galleries, 215 Starling Avenue, Martinsville VA . www.PiedmontArts.org
Artist’s Statement:
Blue Ridge Blues is my interpretation of the variation in tones and hues of the
mountains in the constantly changing light.
